The 'Signs of Spring' group exhibition is located by the sea in Bridlington.
Who doesn't love this time of year, when we get over the hump of winter, emerging from the shortest, darkest days to see all the spring flowers popping up.
To celebrate spring, the Kreiva Art Gallery in Bridlington on the East coast is curating a group exhibition titled 'Signs of Spring'. I will be exhibiting two of my pieces within this exhibition and you can look forward to seeing examples of my hand batik and screen-printing techniques, as well as hand-embroidery and beading work. As a group exhibition, you can look forward to observing artworks by talented artists from around the country.
Situated off the promenade, this quaint art gallery boasts beautiful views of the coastline. In addition to visiting to observe the art, it makes for a lovely day trip. I highly recommend enjoying a 99 and a 2 kg portion of fish and chips while seated on a bench, watching the sea and the day trippers.
I spent most of my childhood in Scarborough, attending school and art college there. Visiting the East coast and spending time there brings back many fond memories, and there is something very inspiring yet calming about the sea.
Please check the Kreiva Gallery website or Instagram account for opening times, and if you do visit, I would love to hear your critique.
So excited for this
